Sovereign Computing

Built from
the kernel up.

IONA OS is a complete operating system written in Rust — from bare-metal kernel to GUI compositor. Post-quantum secure, L1 protocol integrated, no legacy code.

SCROLL TO EXPLORE

A kernel written
from scratch in Rust.

Memory safety and zero-cost abstractions at the hardware level. No legacy. Full control over every layer of the stack.

🛡️

Post-Quantum Cryptography

Dilithium, Kyber, and SPHINCS+ embedded at the OS level. Quantum-resistant by default, not as an afterthought.

⚙️

Bare-Metal Kernel

Full x86_64 and AArch64 support. NVMe, GPU, USB, and VirtIO drivers — written in safe Rust.

🖥️

Modern GUI & Compositor

Glass compositor with Wayland-style window management. Hardware-accelerated 3D via VirGL/Vulkan.

🧠

Cunatic AI Agent

Self-modifying AI written in Flux — an experimental language built alongside IONA. Driver synthesis, mood matrix, dream logs.

📡

P2P Stack

libp2p, gossipsub, Kademlia with eclipse protection, quarantine, and quantum-inspired diversity buckets.

A sovereign L1,
native to the OS.

Not a blockchain bolted on top. IONA Protocol is woven into the operating system itself — integrated at the kernel level.

01

DAG Consensus

Directed acyclic graph consensus mechanism — parallel transaction processing without the bottlenecks of traditional linear chains.

02

Encrypted Mempool

Transactions are encrypted before they enter the mempool. Front-running and MEV attacks are structurally impossible.

03

Threshold Encryption

Distributed key management — no single point of failure. Secrets are split and reconstructed only when consensus is reached.

04

EVM Compatible

Full EVM bytecode execution. Existing smart contracts run natively without modification.

05

No Token

IONA Protocol has no native token. No ICO, no presale, no speculation. The protocol exists to serve the OS, not investors.

06

OS-Native Integration

The protocol runs as a kernel subsystem. No daemon, no background process — it's part of the OS itself.

One person.
One vision.

My name is Eric Octavian. IONA is the result of 13 years of research into what a truly sovereign operating system should be — one that doesn't compromise on security, doesn't rely on legacy assumptions, and doesn't answer to anyone.

I started from the kernel and worked upward: memory allocator, scheduler, drivers, compositor, protocol, AI layer. Every line is intentional.

No VC funding. No token. No roadmap driven by investors. Just a single engineer building the system he wanted to exist.
